Closing the loop

From a finding to a fix to evidence of repair, with humans in the loop.

  1. Assign. Findings route by asset ownership. If a finding has no owner, fix the asset tag, not the finding.
  2. Plan. Pull the remediation summary into your ticket system. Link the finding ID in the ticket.
  3. Fix. Apply the change. Push the deploy.
  4. Re-check. Hit Re-check in the Console. The same engine that found it confirms it's gone.
  5. Record. The evidence layer stores both the original detection and the closing check.
